Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it (or have it stored), what security techniques we use and to whom the data is available.
E-mail newsletter
On the BVT website we give our clients the opportunity to subscribe to stay up to date with the latest information. For sending our e-mail newsletter we use the services of Mailchimp. You are included in our e-mail file if you have signed up for the newsletter or have used our services. Furthermore BVT makes use of actions, to participate in these actions your e-mail address is stored in our database. We share your email address with Mailchimp for sending our newsletters. Mailchimp will never use your email address for any other purpose. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link "unsubscribe" at the bottom of each newsletter.
Storage periods
Your data will be stored as long as you remain a customer of ours. This means that we will keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also consider this to be a request for forgetting. Pursuant to applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices containing your (personal) data; we will therefore retain this data for as long as the applicable term lasts.
Your rights
Under the applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights with regard to the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. We will explain below what these rights are and how you can exercise them. To prevent misuse, we will only send copies and transcriptions of your data to your e-mail address already known to us, unless you wish to receive them otherwise. You always have the right to view, modify and/or restrict the data that we process, or have processed, and which relate to you personally or can be traced back to you.

The information is not shared with third parties. In some cases, the information may be shared internally. Our employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.
